Dorret, I have the CD rom, but it doesn't cover yarn forward or yarn over, I found the video tutorial was excellent as I could just keep going over and over something until I had grasped it.( Believe me, I am a slow learner). Please help me!! Many thanks, Mary. [ view what Dorret says ]

Hello I got your contact details via 'Preston Freecycle Cafe' after submitting a post and am hoping you may be able to help me. My Mum is in desperate need of a single ball of wool, so she can finish a cardigan for her Grandson. She has tried all over to get the wool but with no success - I dare say she has had it in some cupboard for ' a fair while' waiting for it "to come in" . Apologies for troubling you but perhaps you can point me in the right direction where to try or maybe ask members of your group to check their 'knitting cupboards' !! Would re-imburse them what they paid for the wool. The wool is Strata Aran Type Blue Tweed LOT:3705 Many thanks. Apologies for contacting you in such a impromptuous manner. Hi. I'm teaching myself to knit & have a couple of projects under my belt now. I've been given a couple of great books full of projects to extend my repertoire but unfortunately they require American wools which are expensive to import / difficult to find in the UK (as a novice I don't want to be spending a lot on practise pieces!!). Is there any way to find a similar yarn htat's easily available?! The wool I'm particularly struggling with is Cascade. Hannah [ view what Dorret says ]
